Helpful owner running the hotel. Fish market is walking distance to the property.

First night the water didnt work, the second day there was no electricity - although I think both of these issues had to do with construction outside, it still was a bit of a hassle. However, it was great and super close to taskim which came in handy. Problem was it's very difficult to find. They definitely need a bigger sign!! Altogether though, cheap and 2 minutes from taksim, with ac, can't beat it.

Old facilities requiring renovation.

It was economical, central to shopping and transport and close to the ocean.

What I liked more is the Location.

It's old and somethig must be repaired.

Run-down bathroom but perfectly clean.

The location is very good.It is situated near the Bosphorus (Besiktas district) and Macka (an elegant living district). It is a 3 star hotel, a bit old but everything was allright. We had a room on the 6th floor, with an excellent view to the Bosphorus and the Marmara Sea.

It is a bit old, but this didn't disturb us very much.

The hotel was exactly what I needed, close to where I needed to be, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was decent and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

Wi Fi could be more consistent and quicker.

The location of the hotel, central in Istanbul, for example close to Basar and blue mosk +/- 8 min by taxi (these are cheap)

The room was not like the room on the internetpicture, so they gave me an other room or the pictures are not right.

The hotel staff were very helpfull.

The hotel is very basic with better value available elsewhere.

Close to the business area that I was going for. Breakfast was nice.

The bathroom sink drain was slow, the hotel was old but clean.

The location was good and the staff were friendly. It is quite an easy hotel to find when you first arrive

The location of the hotel is ok for Taxsim Square as well as the Congress centres.The staff were helpful and friendly

The hotel is in urgent need of redecoration. I booked 6 rooms at this hotel and therefore had the rare opportunity to sample a good cross section of rooms including the superior rooms. My room was the worst with a lot of panels of wallpaper peeling off the wall. It appears as if the hotel has had a major damp problem that has been fixed but they haven't finished re-decorating. Don't get me wrong, it is currently clean and a healthy environment but it looks cosmetically in a bad condition. The hotel was ok but didn't impress. It is a beautiful building but just needs refurbished. The rooms without wallpaper look much better. It did meet my needs well but the cosmetic looks were a bit of an embarrassment to me when my colleagues checked in.

Location is perfect. Very close to Akaretler Street, Nisantasi, Besiktas.

Hotel was so old. Refurnished immediately.

The personnel spoke in english and tried to help in every situation. There was restaurant where you could eat even in the late evening.

The room was very derelict and quite unclean.
